I’d had an idea for a static collage artwork piece - I thought wouldn’t it be funny if I used loads of cut out soft porn imagery and made censor lines to cover anything censorable but the censor lines then “accidentally’ spelt out something really rude - so used a version of this idea - swapping rude words for song lyrics for this video. I cut out 750 figures of varying sizes from soft porn magazines, made and attached tiny black “censor” lines to each body including their eyes, then animated them joining the lines up to draw shapes & spell out words from the song. I made this in my workroom upstairs in my house. It took 4 solid weeks. It was selected to be screened at BFI “ Bug” January ‘08 event.
