This is the third video I made for PJ Harvey – the first for Island records – we shot it in a boat builders yard near Portishead (just outside Bristol) bringing to life the 50 foot Queenie still photos we had done in my front room – same clothes and white paper backdrop just in a bit more space to move. The cameraman a friend Simon Jacobs worked at Aardamnn Animations so we were able to cut this video which was shot on 16mm film on a Steenbeck at Aardmans.
