This we shot in the same boat builders shed just outside Portished near Bristol that we used for 50 Foot Queenie. All I said to Polly before hand was everyone knows that everyone lip-synchs so just sing when you feel like singing & don’t when you don’t. I’d been working behind the bar at The Moon Club in Bristol where MTV was on all the time & I thought all the videos they play are very colourful and fast & if you made something fairly static & black & white it would stand out…this was at the point when we would base our videos on the photo sessions that we did first - what Polly wore & how she performed was an extension of the photo sessions.
